Toltrazuril

Composition

Each ml Coxitril Vet liquid contains Toltrazuril INN 25 mg.

Indications

Poultry:

Coxitril-Vet liquid is indicated for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in poultry caused by *Eimeria tenella*, *Eimeria necatrix*, *Eimeria acervulina*, *Eimeria maxima*, *Eimeria brunetti*, and *Eimeria mitis*.

Dosage & Administration

Route of Administration: Oral via drinking water.

Treatment: 7 mg toltrazuril/kg body weight daily (or 28 ml/100 kg daily) for 2 consecutive days continuously or for 8 hours daily (repeat after 5 days if severe).
Prevention: 7 mg toltrazuril/kg body weight for 2 consecutive days within 10–18 days monthly up to 4 months of age.

Interaction

Coxitril Vet® liquid is compatible with other poultry feed additives & no hazardous reactions were reported.

Contraindications

Should not be administered in flocks with impaired hepatic and renal function. Should not be used in animals hypersensitive to active ingredient.

Side Effects

In high doses, egg production drops, growth retardation, and polyneuritis may occur.

Storage Conditions

Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
