Each ml of Maroxacin vet injection contains Marbofloxacin BP 100 mg.
Description
Maroxacin-vet contains marbofloxacin, a synthetic, bactericidal antimicrobial belonging to the third-generation fluoroquinolone class. It exhibits broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and *Mycoplasma* species.

Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: IM, SC, or IV injection (divide doses >20 ml; preferably in neck).
Or as directed by a registered veterinarian.
Contraindications
Should not be used in animals with known hypersensitivity to Marbofloxacin or to any other quinolone or to any of the excipients. Do not use in cases where the pathogen involved is resistant to other fluoroquinolones.
Side Effects
Administration by the intramuscular route may cause transient local reactions such as pain and swelling at the injection site and inflammatory lesions, which may persist for at least 12 days after injection. Greenish colouring of faeces at the end of treatment has sometimes been reported.
