Bolus: Each bolus contains Marbofloxacin BP 50 mg.
Injection: Each ml contains Marbofloxacin BP 100 mg.
Arbocin Vet DS Bolus: Each bolus contains Marbofloxacin BP 100 mg.
Description
Arbocin vet contains marbofloxacin, a third-generation fluoroquinolone that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, thereby preventing DNA supercoiling and replication.
Indications

Route of Administration: Oral or IM/IV/SC injection.

Or as directed by the registered Veterinary Physician.
Interaction
With medicine: Efficacy may be reduced after using marbofloxacin with antacids, cyclosporine, flunixin, iron, zinc, etc. With food & others: No interactions were found with feed.
Contraindications
Do not administer to an animal previously found hypersensitive to marbofloxacin or other quinolones.
Side Effects
Common side effects: Vomiting, diarrhoea, inappetence, and transient local reactions may occur. Rare side effects: Incoordination, depression, CNS, and cartilage abnormalities, etc.
Pregnancy & Lactation
It may be used in pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions & Warnings
A low urinary pH could have an inhibitory effect on the activity of marbofloxacin. Arbocin Vet and Arbocin Vet DS are well tolerated by the animals. No sign of overdose has been observed after administration of 3 times the recommended dose.
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 6 days and Milk: 15 days must not be consumed after administration.
