Povidone Iodine 10%.

Livestock and Poultry:
Dosage & Administration
Or as directed by a registered veterinary physician.
Interaction
Regular use should be avoided in patients receiving concurrent lithium therapy. Iodine absorption from povidone-iodine may interfere with thyroid function tests. Povidone-iodine contamination may cause false-positive results in tests for occult blood in feces or blood in urine.
Contraindications
Don’t use in those animal which are hypersensitive to iodine.
Side Effects
Povidone-iodine may produce local skin reactions, although it is less irritating than iodine. The application of povidone-iodine to large wounds or severe burns may produce systemic adverse effects such as metabolic acidosis, hypernatremia, and impairment of renal function.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Regular use of Povidone Iodine should be avoided in pregnant or lactating animals, as absorbed iodine can cross the placental barrier and can be secreted into milk. Although no adverse effects have been reported from limited use, caution should be exercised, and therapeutic benefit must be balanced against possible effects of the absorption of iodine on faetal thyroid function and development.
Precautions & Warnings
Special caution is needed when regular applications to broken skin are made to patients with pre-existing renal insufficiency. This preparation is flammable, and caution is advised during surgical procedures involving hot wire cautery or diathermy.
