Composition

Each dose of vaccine contains: Newcastle disease virus (Ulster 2C strain)
inactivated 10^80 EID50 (50 PD50)
Thiomersal
at most 0.015 mg
Oil excipient
qs 0.3 ml.

Indications

Poultry:

Imopest is indicated for the active immunization of poultry against Newcastle disease.
The formulation also serves as a booster for live vaccine.

Dosage & Administration

Route of Administration: SC/IM injection. Shake well before use.

Pullets (future layers and breeders): A single injection of 0.3 ml per bird 2–4 weeks prior to the onset of egg production.
Chickens (<1 week of age): A single injection of 0.1 ml per bird simultaneously with or following a live vaccine (HB1 or VG/GA strain) Provideed via the ocular route.
