Composition

Each 0.3 ml dose of vaccine contains
Inactivated Avian Influenza virus
H9N2 strain ≥ 7 Log2 HIU
Inactivated Newcastle disease virus
Ulster 2C strain
≥ 16 HI Ufr (¹)
The concentration is expressed by the antibody titre obtained during the potency test One unit (U) corresponds to an antibody titre of one (01)
HI: Haemagglutination inhibiting
(¹) Minimum antibody titre obtained in the animal vaccinated with 1/50 of dose (fractionated dose).

Indications

Poultry:

Gallimune H9+ND is indicated for the preventive vaccination of broiler chickens and layer or breeder pullets against the Avian Influenza (H9N2) virus, in order to reduce respiratory and ocular clinical signs, to prevent mortality, to improve bodyweight gain, and to limit viral excretion.
The formulation also provides protection against the Newcastle Disease virus, in order to protect against clinical signs, to prevent mortality, and to preserve egg production.
Onset of immunity is established at 3 weeks.
Duration of immunity is 6 weeks for broiler chickens and 11 weeks for breeder and layer pullets.
The withdrawal period is zero days.

Dosage & Administration

Route of Administration: SC (0.2 ml for 1–10 days old) or IM (0.3 ml after 10 days old).

Broiler & Sonali Chickens: At 1 day old in hatchery or 7 days old in field.
Breeder & Layer Pullets (Low Challenge): 4–8 weeks of age and 2–4 weeks before onset of lay.
Breeder & Layer Pullets (High Challenge): 1–10 days, 6–8 weeks, and 2–4 weeks before onset of lay.

Storage: 2°C–8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
