Bolus: Each bolus contains Dexamethasone BP 10 mg.

Description

Steron Vet contains dexamethasone, a steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (SAID) that exhibits analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It acts by reversibly blocking the activity of cyclooxygenase-1 and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby decreasing the production of proinflammatory prostaglandin precursors.

Indications

Livestock:

Steron Vet is indicated for the treatment of mastitis, endometritis, arthritis, laminitis, dermatitis, pneumonia, and bronchitis.
The formulation also provides relief from allergies and ketosis.
It is additionally used for managing various forms of shock, including trauma from vehicular impacts, animal attacks, slips, hypovolemic states, and post-operative shock.
The product serves as supportive therapy for insect bites, snakebites, shipping fever, and retained placenta.
It is further utilized for the induction of parturition, managing immunosuppressive conditions, and addressing nervous system disorders.
