Composition
Description
Moxilin-CV DS Vet contains amoxicillin, a semisynthetic broad-spectrum penicillin with bactericidal activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, which acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid functions as a beta-lactamase enzyme inhibitor. The combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid is effective against both beta-lactamase-producing and non-beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.

Interaction
No known interactions with drugs, feed, and other substances.
Contraindications
Do not use in animals with known sensitivity to Amoxicillin and/or Clavulanic Acid.
Side Effects
Common: Allergic reaction, loss of appetite, vomiting/nausea, and diarrhoea may occur in some cases. Rare: None reported.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Animal studies failed to reveal any evidence of teratogenicity. However, risk and necessity should be considered during administration of medicine in pregnant and lactating animals.
Precautions & Warnings
Do not remove bolus from blister foil strip until ready to use.
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 4-day duration must not be consumed after administration, and Milk: None reported.
