Composition
Each bolus contains:
Live Yeast Culture 3 gm.
Activated Dry Yeast 1 gm.
Lactobacillus Sporogenes Culture 50 million CFU.
Amino Acids (from Protein Hydrolysate) 3 gm.
Liver Extract 6 mg.
Indications
Livestock:
BIOLACT is indicated for the treatment of ruminal stasis, indigestion, inappetite, and intermittent diarrhea.
The formulation also addresses poor growth and production resulting from decreased ruminal function.
It is additionally used to improve ruminal digestion and assist in stabilizing the rumen during ration changes.
The product reduces weight loss at the start of lactation and increases lactic acid metabolism.
It decreases the risk of subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA), clinical acidosis, and overall rumen dysfunction.
The administration increases levels of total volatile fatty acids (VFAs) and boosts cellulytic bacteria to better utilize high-starch rations.
It improves the feed conversion ratio (FCR) while increasing the utilization of dry matter and the fermentation of organic matter.
The supplement is important in aiding the establishment of microflora to develop rumen papillae during the transition period.
It also successfully maintains feed intake and increases milk yield.
Dosage and Administration:
Large ruminants should receive 1 to 2 boluses daily for 3 to 5 days.
Small ruminants should receive 1/2 bolus daily for 3 to 5 days, or as directed by a registered veterinary doctor.

BIOLACT Bolus is safe in pregnancy and lactation.

Use of BIOLACT Bolus with antibiotics may reduce its function partially or fully.
