Each ml contains Sodium Bicarbonate BP 75 mg.
Description
SB Nate Vet dissociates to provide bicarbonate ions, which increase plasma bicarbonate levels to neutralize hydrogen ions, raise blood and urinary pH, and reverse the clinical manifestations of metabolic acidosis.

Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: IV injection only.
Or as directed by the registered veterinary physician.
Interaction
With medicine: Efficacy may be reduced in combination with Ciprofloxacin, furosemide, iron products, salicylates, and tetracycline. With food & others: None reported.
Contraindications
Sodium Bicarbonate is contraindicated in animals that are losing chloride ions from the body by vomiting and receiving diuretics, congestive heart failure, or other edematous or sodium-retaining states, as well as in patients with oliguria or anuria.
Side Effects
Common side effects: Metabolic alkalosis, hypokalemia, and hypocalcemia. Rare side effects: Hyperirritability or tetany.
Pregnancy & Lactation
The use of Sodium Bicarbonate during pregnancy and lactation has not been established.
Precautions & Warnings
Should be used with great care as a hypertonic solution and should not be used if it contains a precipitate. Incompatible with calcium-containing solution. Not for intravenous injection in dogs and cats.
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: duration not established and Milk: duration not established must not be consumed after administration.
