Indications

Dogs and Cats:

FRONTLINE SPRAY is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infestation by fleas and ticks in dogs and cats.
The formulation exhibits insecticidal and acaricidal activity against fleas (*Ctenocephalides spp*), ticks (*Rhipicephalus spp.*, *Ixodes spp.*), and lice (*Trichodectes spp.* and *Felicola spp.*) in the dog and cat.
It is additionally used to manage *Neotrombicula autumnalis*, *Sarcoptes spp.*, and *Cheyletiella spp.* infestations across these species.

Dosage & Administration

Route of Administration: External topical spray (apply against lay of hair from 10–20 cm; allow to dry naturally).

Dose Rate: 3–6 ml per kg body weight (2–4 pumps/kg).
Dogs & Cats (<5 kg, 100 ml bottle): 6 pumps/kg (up to 12 pumps/kg for long hair).
Dogs & Cats (>5 kg, 250/500 ml bottle): 2 pumps/kg (up to 4 pumps/kg for long hair).

Duration: Active 4 weeks against ticks and 2 months against fleas in dogs; 6 weeks against fleas in cats.

Precautions & Warnings

Avoid spraying in animals’ eyes and directly onto areas of broken skin. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse reactions and even death could occur. As with all insecticides and acaricides, the following are recommended: -Wear gloves, especially during treatment of groups of animals -Spray the animals in a well-ventilated room - Wash the hands after use - Do not smoke, drink, or eat during application - Keep treated animals away from fires and other sources of heat for at least 30 minutes following spraying and until the fur is totally dry.
