Composition

Each ml injectable solution contains Pheniramine Maleate BP 22.75 mg.

Indications

Animals:

Antihista-Vet is indicated for the treatment of itching at different areas of the body, drug allergy, hay fever, and urticaria.
The formulation also provides relief from inflammation, constipation, rhinitis, and pulmonary oedema.
It is additionally used for local anaesthesia, bronchospasm, puerperal toxaemia, and inflammation of the stomach and uterus.

Dosage & Administration

Route of Administration: IM or IV injection 2–3 times daily.

Cattle, Buffalo & Horse: 5–10 ml per day.
Goat & Sheep: 0.5–1 ml per day.

Or as directed by the registered veterinary physician.

Contraindications

The drug is contraindicated in animals hypersensitive to the active ingredient.

Side Effects

In therapeutic doses, slight insomnia and drowsiness may develop, and fatigue may be felt. Injection may be irritating, and transient hypotension or stimulation of the CNS may occur.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safety for the use of Antihista Vet injection during pregnancy has not been established. Antihista Vet injection should only be used when clearly needed, and the potential benefit outweighs the potential unknown risks to the fetus. Use during lactation is not recommended.

Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
