Composition
Each Bolus contains Paracetamol BP 2,000 mg.
Indications
Animals and Poultry:
Ace-Vet is indicated for recovery from fever and pain, including headaches, earaches, body aches, neuralgia, pain due to intestinal inflammation, rheumatoid fever, post-vaccination pain, postpartum pain, and post-operative pain.
The formulation also provides relief from tissue swelling resulting from trauma, injury, burns, or other infectious diseases in both animals and poultry.
It is additionally used because the bolus does not create any apparent gross lesions or histopathological lesions in visceral organs.
The product is safely tolerated as it does not cause any nephrotoxicity.
Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: Oral
Animal: 1 bolus per 130–140 kg body weight (15 mg/kg body weight) 3 times daily.
Poultry: 1 bolus per 10 L drinking water 2–3 times daily.
Or as directed by the registered veterinary physician.
Contraindications
Ace Vet Bolus should be used with caution in those animals which are renally or hepatically impaired.
Side Effects
Side effects of Ace Vet Bolus are generally mild, though hematological reactions have been reported. Pancreatitis, skin rashes, and other allergic reactions occur occasionally.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Ace Vet Bolus is safe in all stages of pregnancy and lactation.
